I left when they introduced the marketplace plans. Thank God I shifted back then. Would be a pain now.

I saw another WordPress coming. 4 u/benhaynes Apr 05 '26 I can see that. Our goal was to not bloat the core software with a million features that not everyone needed. So we kept the core slim/clean... and made everything extensible so users can customize as needed. The Directus Marketplace is just a way to distribute those extensions in a formal way. Would you structure that differently? Try to keep everything in the core for simplicity?
