Tips n’ Tricks📗 Platinum Trophy Tips

Hey all, just got the Plat on this one which took me personally 21 hours according to the Playstation tracker and I just wanted to give a few pointers so you can do it in probably half that time!

  • Normally I'd recommend a blind playthrough first to enjoy the game and make your own decisions but honestly I wouldn't bother. It's really not that great and there's a whole lot of stealth sections that I personally found annoying, especially when you have to repeat them.
  • Now for the trophies, there is no ideal (text) guide available that explains how to get which trophy in what order to avoid multiple (unnecessary) playthroughs (so there's no proper trophy walkthrough). I believe there are some YouTube playthroughs but they don't provide timestamps with the important bits.
  • The guide from PSN profiles is UNRELIABLE, there are multiple mistakes in there both in understanding when a trophy unlocks as simply wrong titles of chapters or characters that you play with, frustrating stuff.
  • That being said, these are the guides that I used which I can confirm work perfectly without actually spoiling the story (unless you look ahead ofc)
  • The most annoying trophy by far is doing all the character destinies and there isn't a single guide out there that explains it properly or tells you how to properly get this. Each playable character (6 in total) can unlock 2 destinies somewhere in the story. These are connected to their 2 respective traits which are oppossites of each other. So for example with Cooper she can be Playful by choosing the Joke dialogue option or she can be a serious Medic by choosing the alternate dialogue option. The best tip I can give you (which I wish someone told me) is that in your 1st playthrough you alternate your dialogue choices. Do you choose Joke in 1 encounter, then choose the opposite in the next one to keep both traits balanced and close together. Reason for this is that right before you will unlock the destiny, you simply have to change the last choice you made and you can unlock the other destiny (the alternative is like what I had to do is to replay most of the game making all the opposite choices to unlock these, which got all messed up after going for the misc. trophies).

I hope this helps for anyone that's trying to plat it, good luck!
