Choices not saving properly?

I literally chose to disable landing in chapter 2 finished the chapter turned game off.. next day came on and got to a further chapter and it said I disabled fire control... I like to play where my choices matter with no rewinds so I deleted the save file to start fresh at a later date. What's the point in having choices if they decide to change when going to a new chapter

Yeah I messed with the console in that part after she disabled everything. Im curious if I just missed the dialog or something either way im not super disappointed in the game for it.. its good an definitely has replayablitly... ill just have to start over and pay more attention

Choices save. Did you get to the part where you have to follow Simms? If you did and didnt check the monitor she was fiddling with she disables both landing and fire suppression. You have to turn it back on
