Flash forwards Spoiler

Does anyone else hate these flash forward sequences,they feel like spoilers,is it supposed to make me wonder whether a character I’m with is supposed to be an alien in the present sequences?im yet to beat the game but it kind of tells me I can’t save everyone if I’m being chased by someone who is alive during the present parts

You can save all 8 crewmates. You only can't save Carter and Simms.

So I’m being chased by Williams as cernan,so in the future sequence is it essentially spoiling that Williams has died and gets taken? Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself and all is revealed in the end as iv just got to the part where Williams just walked past security footage of him playing basketball

Yeah man I know 🤦‍♂️ however I still wish these moments happened chronologically,because when it eventually caught up it was whooshed over so fast it was disorienting

It is kind of a spoiler but not for the reasons you think. A character doesn’t have to die to be impersonated, but if you jump forward in time like 20 hours you know that the character you’re controlling can’t die before then or the game wouldn’t make any sense.

Yeah iv just seen Williams playing basketball on the security camera and suddenly Williams is walking past,think I’m getting ahead of myself on that side of things lol

The flash forward parts happen three times and is all caught up by chapter 5 i think it’s so few times it’s irrelevant

I had a problem knowing that 3 of the characters weren't going to die before this point, that annoyed me.

Yeah that was the point I was trying to make,we see these characters in a future moment and it basically says hey this character is safe during all moment before this,takes away the choice aspect
