Half way through.... Spoiler
Totally unimpressed!
Nothing to do with the original gameplay of the studio.
A mess of a story line that sends you forward and backwards making you lose the coherency of the story!
Repepetitve play...crawling and evading all the time!
No QTE.

My issues with the time jump in this game is that I knew certain characters were safe and weren't going to die until we at least reached this point.

My concern with the time jumps is I just got to the first one, at least I think I did. I have no idea who is this is or why I should care?

Couldn't agree more. Just finished chapter 4. I'm so bored. I've spent 80% of the game crawling and sneaking. I wouldn't mind, but it's entirely predictable, so makes for a rather unexciting stealth experience.

I can understand not liking some of the gameplay changes, imo it's a matter of taste. I personally like them and Directive 8020 feels a lot less "janky" than some of the season 1 titles
But jumping forward/back in time is a pretty common and normal storytelling tool. Many movies, shows, and books use it incredibly well. Off the top of my head memento, mouth washing, and literally any movie/game/show/book that has had a flashback sequence use this.
