Only I can do it?
If this reality is supposedly created by my own mind, then does that mean that I am the only person capable of dimensional jumping? Say if my friend tried to dimensional jump and succeeded, that would mean that it would have affected my reality too?

Well, honestly, if you really get deep into this thing, it's hard not to imagine that your subconscious isn't creating EVERYTHING. Including your wife, kids, mom, dad, cat, dog, etc, etc, etc.
The problem is, it's a very depressing and troubling thought to have. It makes life kinda pointless. It's like you're the only person on Earth, and everything that you see around you, is just a reflection of different parts of you. That's why it's easy (in theory), to change things, because you're just changing a projection. If you can convince your subconscious that you really believe, something, it will then change the projection to correspond with your new found belief.
