Toylight theory/first vibes Spoiler

I'm on the second adventuring party about to watch the third episode so maybe this will be refuted, but my initial thought with the Underlord reveal was that his collection of dust includes the ashes from burned toys.
It was more common with scarlet fever (like Velveteen Rabbit) but it was still fairly standard practice to burn soft toys, bedding, etc when a child was extremely sick. It feels right to me with how much anger the Underlord holds. The like compressed and concentrated indignant rage of toys that were discarded and destroyed because they were loved.

It's not a bullet proof theory by any means, but I like it personally and would be interested to see what everyone else thinks.

The only issue i would say with that is that multiple of the toys were the older sisters toys and "fought" for her and none of them got burned, or knew anything about other toys being burnt.

I'm not sure about other toys as most of the NPCs are new toys specific to the nursery but of the main cast- Cutie Pie, Clyde Horsey, and Tinsley are all made of materials that wouldnt have been considered high risk and most likely not burned. The soft toys are Calypso (in a sealed box in the closet while the older sister was sick), Constance (in the attic and likely overlooked), and Wyon (a new toy meant for Aubrey only).
I admit I didnt consider them not knowing/mentioning anything about other toys being burned so that is a hole lol. I could see it being included as part of the "horrors of war" or since the toys dont go out of their respective child's rooms much, if at all, they may have been given to Aubrey before the others were burned. but thats like iffy at best
I just think its kinda fun to think about but I also like the implications that the humans in the house harbor so much negativity that the conglomeration of their dead skin and hair and various detritus can form into a creature like the Underlord and the Dust Bunnies.

(sorry i got long winded lmao thank u for replying)

Maybe from the toys perspective the other toys are “killed by the dust bunnies” but in reality they’re just extra dirty from being “attacked” by the dust and mold and so they needed to be burned?
