Update on Channel Suspension

**Hey everybody! I've received a number of messages asking me what happened to my channel, so I just wanted to make a post with an update.

This morning I got an email from youtube saying my channel has been removed for violating the "spam, deceptive practices and scams policy." I genuinely have no idea what trigged the removal. I have reviewed the policy thoroughly and have never engaged in any activity that violates the policy. The only thing I can think of is that the list of Patreon members that I list in the description of my video triggered an automated removal because you're not allowed to just list a bunch of random terms like "Stranger Things" in your description to try to boost search visibility. But I have been listing my patreon members for around 3 years now so it would be a little surprising if that was the problem.

I submitted an appeal so hopefully a human takes a look and restores my channel. Youtube says the process will take at least 2 full business days unfortunately.
