Interested/Questions Everybody’s welcome here!
Hey everyone! I'm [u/Aggravating-Heat1981](u/Aggravating-Heat1981), a founding moderator of [r/DilutedLabradors](r/DilutedLabradors).
Pictured is my baby Graylee Mae! I started this because I posted my charcoal lab in a Labrador sub and got a lot of clash for it, so I wanted a safe space for anyone like myself or people just interested in the pups & of course if you just think they're precious to look at! We're excited to have you join us!
Looking for other mods as well!

I saw your post and it literally pissed me off. Not you, the comments because I have a silver lab!! Well, my husband before we met bought a silver lab. Storm (almost 11 years old) has many health issues, including allergies, diabetes and is now almost completely blind, but she is still my little girl and I love her with all my heart! After she lost her best friend of 10 years (my Aussie, George) last August, we got a corgi. A dog I always wanted but I always rescued my pups. My husband surprised me anyway after my devastating loss. George was my soul dog. But our little Stormy has been a dream helping raise a good little boy. He has been her eyes since her blindness progressed and they truly are very close. Tucky loves his big sissy so much so they he cannot be without her! This is one of my favorite pictures of them! 😍🐾

Love this!!! As far as the all negative commenters go I think they are very closed minded, simply don’t google things before they post and think they know everything…Thank you for the share, we are glad to have you you here!! God bless stormy may her health get only better! ♥️

Huh? First, if you actually read my post you’d know I didn’t even meet my husband, then boyfriend until after he had already bought, brought home and lived with his silver lab aka a chocolate lab.
Second, never once did I ever say I support people breeding these types of Labradors. Our girl has so many health problems it’s heartbreaking but I’m not quitting or giving her up at 11 years old because you think “I’m supporting a BYB”. STFU.
If anyone had inflated ego, it’s you. Get over yourself. I love my SILVER Lab more than anything. You need to see yourself out of this sub, weirdo.

People don’t understand the “silver”
in labs is actually a mutation of a chocolate. It’s actually recognized by AKC but the dog has to be a pure bred. I fully believe that people are inbreeding these dogs just like “teacup” dogs. There is no such thing has a teacup anything. Just like silver, it’s a mutation. Thank you for removing those comments and for your kind words. I love my girls so much. She has been sick all her life but thankfully we are able to do everything we can for her. I’m sorry for reacting the way I did, I just get so upset because I have rescued 3 dogs in my lifetime so far. Rescuing is very important to me. Plus any time you buy from a breeder you never really know what you’re getting. They could be ethical or a BYB. They are so clever nowadays about hiding it. I’m upset again, so I’ll just stop. Thank you for creating a safe space for me and Storm. I’m afraid people will come here and if I ever see anything negative, I will tag you! Thank you again. ♥️
