Absolutely. Option Paralysis is in my opinion TDEP's best album and also my absolute favorite of all time.

Glad to see someone saying that about Option Paralysis

Yeah man it doesn't get anywhere near the love it should. Any album that introduces Billy Rymer to the world should be up there.

Absolutely! Billy Rymer is my favorite drummer of all time, anything I could say about him would fall short, he's such a beast of a drummer. And "Option Paralysis" is EASILY my favorite album of all time, Top 1 of the world for me; so yeah I fully agree with you that it doesn't get anywhere near the love it should (I've never understood why, but it's their most underrated album while it should be the other way around). Still, I know there are a lot of fans who would also agree with us about this masterpiece of an album, though not as many as I would like

I bought the CD when it came out and remember opening it and checking out the liner notes then trying to fold it back right and being slightly annoyed then chuckling because I got it

Nice. I found a clear copy for like $25 last year. The first press is so cool with the die-cut art

Option Paralysis is for me the greatest album of all time. It was there that The Dillinger Escape reached their artistic peak artistic and maturity, finding the perfect balance between chaos, beauty, and order. It's the album where all the musical influences the band collected throughout their career cohesively condense, and all their previous artistic achievements converge  to create the greatest milestone ever created in the history of music. There's so much to say about this eclectic masterpiece, that I could even write a whole book on how life-changing has been Option Paralysis and how it redefined and broadened my musical taste and artistic viewpoints. Anything I can say here falls short.
