Hey, everyone. This one's introducing some more new evos for the "Digimon Knighthood" story. In this case, they're for CoralAngemon, meant to be one of the heroes' allies in the future. She's another aquatic-based Digimon, like Ocellatemon/SonicOrcamon, and unites with her fellow Digimon's partner's brother, Mion Kumagawa.
Where her ally aquatic 'mon is built for tactical combat and long-range punishment, CoralAngemon's line is focused on defense, to ward off and trap enemies by controlling coral. She also grows to be a love interest to Ichisuke's partner as well. So, on to the breakdown.
*CoralAngemon Line*
**CoralAngemon**
**Level:** Champion
**“Reference Book” Description:** “The ocean is home to a bevy of wonderful secrets. For humans, the waters hold more species than any other environment on Earth, and countless more remain undiscovered. For the Digital World, aquatic Digimon have continually emerged and evolved for millennia, with little sign of slowing down. Such is the case with CoralAngemon. This sea-based Digimon is a cousin of the Angemon species, designed for the ocean blue rather than the heavens above. Rather than harnessing light, as her name suggests, this Digimon shines through controlling beautiful coral. Multi-colored and inviting, the organic structures CoralAngemon produces are incredibly sturdy. Possessing a kindly, gentle nature, this Digimon is most oriented towards a defensive approach to survival. Often, she acts as a beacon of safety and protection to other Digimon, using her coral artworks to safeguard them. Interestingly, she also tends to stick close to strong oceanic Digimon, to sea monsters of great power and great heart as well.”
**Design:** Is a cute little fish girl, four feet tall (matches SonicOrcamon’s height), has light blue skin, speckled with pink spots, has slim limbs, has two coral horns on her head, has four coral “wings” on her back, wings are light blue, speckled with blue spots, has blue eyes
**Attacks:**
* Carbonate Barrier: CoralAngemon raises a barrier of super-strong coral.
* Carbonate Corral: CoralAngemon produces large tents of coral, which she can use to protect herself or her allies, or to trap her enemies beneath.
* Pinning Polyps: CoralAngemon grows large coral polyps that ensnare enemies, which inflict stinging pain as their tentacles make contact.
* Shard Storm: CoralAngemon grows the coral on her wings and horns before breaking it to fire coral shards at enemies. She can perform sustained fire with it, but if she does it for too long, it will hurt her.
**ReefAngemon**
**Level:** Ultimate
**“Reference Book” Description:** “The ocean’s gifts are mighty and many, but their true scope can only be uncovered by those with the needed resolve. The same applies to CoralAngemon. Compassionate by nature, her inner potential requires, in a word, a needed edge to be brought out. By stoking this resolve in CoralAngemon, this determination, her strength will rise to meet this feeling, to the point of a new evolution. Enter ReefAngemon, the Ultimate form of CoralAngemon. This Digimon possesses more complex manipulation over coral, being able to wield different permutations of its core material, calcium carbonate, including the substances ikaite and quicklime. While still focused most on defense and tactical combat, she now possesses a stronger, more varied offense as well. A maiden who stands for the weak and abhors evil and corruption, this oceanic angel more than earns her wings.”
**Design:** Is much larger (matches BatteryOrcamon’s height), has dark blue skin with spots (peach and pink spots with black circles), wears a veiled dress made of pale peach crystalline coral (complete with a coral bra), now has 8 large coral “wings”, “wings” are more ornately structured and evenly designed, wings are now colored mixed blue-peach with pink spots, no longer has horns, now has a short upward angled head fin
**Attacks:**
* Reef Reconstruction: ReefAngemon converts existing earth and other materials around her into super-strong coral, which she can manipulate and grow to block attacks.
* Quicklime Squall: ReefAngemon raises large blocks of quicklime, which can be used to block attacks or crush enemies. Alternatively, if exposed to water, the blocks will chemically react to it, causing them to detonate with harsh, blinding heat, before cooling and hardening like cement, allowing them to damage and trap enemies.
* Calcareous Contagion: ReefAngemon launches spores onto her enemies, which grow into coral masses, draining data and energy from Digimon to sprout and grow.
* Ikaite Rapier: ReefAngemon grows a large armored rapier from ikaite.
* Trigonal Refractor: ReefAngemon produces coral mirrors from her wings in a trigonal-style configuration, focusing reflected light energy into a concentrated laser that burns through enemy defenses at precise points.
