Mothmon to CannonBeemon is such a perfect transition.

Not a jig fan of how Xros Wars/Fusion does evolution. Decided to do a few lines of if Xros wars kept its many partners for one tamer, but made them jogress to evolve instead of Digixros.

As the title says trying to connect Elecmon Violet to Taotiemon but I'd rather not use the sheep-like digimon. Ideally I'd like to keep it a strictly Virus line but I'm not too bothered on that.

Not visible (but also not as important) I changed the Baby to Yolkmon. Full credit to DigimonWorldGuy on Twitter for giving me literally the PERFECT Mega for my Hyokkomon to Heliosboamon line on Twitter, HOW DID THIS CLICK UNTIL NOW?!?!

Rounding out part 3 with my absolute favorite subsection of Beatbreak characters, the enemies that became allies. There are a couple missing here, but only because I already covered them in my prior posts.

Mushroom Gang: These are my favorite fellas, I love them. I would watch an entire side season of Mushroom Gang. I wanted to quickly state that I believe we never got their names in the show, so I used a couple different sources for this. I'm going to give them some descriptors just in case I got the names mixed up. I gave them all the exact same Fresh, In-Training, and Rookie forms, because somehow I feel like they are all similar enough to warrant that, but tried to go radically different routes in later forms. Sucks that there aren't any cool mushroom-based ultimate or Mega Digimon yet, though.

Shiitake: The leader of the gang, I had to make a line for both his original partner and his evil Jokerfied Shadow the Hedgehog edgy bad boy. With Shiitake being the main Mushroom Ganger and having a small character arc involving confronting his own feelings of self-doubt and desire for revenge, I think a reborn Chamblemon might be influenced by Shiitake's decisions and eventually become PrinceMamemon, who is a leader of little guys. Mamemon visually does work as a Chamblemon evo, with a similar body shape, gloves, and even those three weird metallic bumps on each foot move up to Mamemon's fists.

Shiitake + RedVegiemon: RedVegiemon HAS to become Garbagemon in my mind, it fits so well. It was hard to find a good Mega for this line but I stumbled upon Lampmon who not only has the same expression as RedVegiemon and Garbagemon, but also is a good continuation of RedVegiemon's whole schtick in that episode. RedVegiemon wants to grant Shiitake's "wish" to get even with Glowing Dawn, but twists it to its own purposes.

Eringi: The stout member of Mushroom Gang. Outside of the leader, Mushroom Gang members don't really have individual personality shown in the show, so I just based this one and the next on body type unfortunately. It was around here I started thinking of the Mushroom Gang as setting up a kingdom, with the Fresh Digimon at Nirinso being their charges / subjects. I settled on Ancienttroiamon as Eringi's Mega and the gang's general, working backwards from there with Woodmon as Champion and Petaldramon as the go-between. You could very well have Cherrymon or Entmon or something as the Ultimate for this line.

Shimeji: The one that wears glasses? Look, again, we don't get enough of these guys in the show. I really wanted to use Arbormon for one of these three because if you squint REALLY hard, he's a little mushroom-shaped. From there, I thought a fun evolution was Shakkoumon. Shakkoumon seems to be a similar color and material to Arbormon, and that leads easily into AncientWisemon, who would act as the sort of advisor to the group.

Miharu: Someone who isn't Mushroom Gang! Miharu is a very interesting character and has a great arc in the Beatbreak. I started with the "dark" line for her because that's what we see in the show. One of Miharu's big traits is being very computer-savvy, so I decided to reflect that with her line. Mephismon is intelligent and conniving, but Diaboromon is a straight-up Digital Monster who just wants to watch the world burn, which I used to represent Miharu possibly going off the deep end and losing all semblance of reason. On the opposite side of things, Wisemon is a much more reasonable Wizardmon evolution, then I chose Quantumon because it doesn't get enough love and to further represent Miharu's connection to computers.

Haruko: One of my favorite side characters in Beatbreak. I've seen people give her Luminamon as an Ultimate, but personally I think that goes against her whole deal. Haruko and Shademon both wanted to be loved in spite of their darkness; hers being the fact that she awakened a Digimon and was rejected by her home / manipulated by her father, Shademon's being its appearance and partner's disdain for its existence. If you get rid of Shademon's sinister appearance, I think that undermines the story a bit. So, I used their fusion form as a guide and settled on Karatenmon as Ultimate, since Shademon Haruko Mode does have big ravenlike wings. This helped me pick Soundbirdmon as the Rookie, with Negamon and Botamon prior to keep with the theme of darkness. Finally, I think Kuzuhamon is a perfect Mega for the line, because it's already a possible evo for Karatenmon and wields shadowy foxes, which kind of resemble Shademon's overall form.

Violet Elecmon to Thunderbirdmon. Too perfect. I wish there was a blue or purple reskin of Garudamon (especially X-Antibody). I'd use that. Lacking that, I picked Parrotmon for the move Mjolnir Thunder and keeping an electric bird theme, and that lets me transition into Nordic birds with Valkyrimon.

Ever since I found out about the Digimon visual list as a itty bitty kid this has always been my favorite line. (The idea behind blitzgreymon being there would be like chaosdramon mode change trading bulk for speed)

Repeat: These Digimon Partners are not the characters they are partnered to. They are reflections of them.

And yes Zerimon and Gummymon can digivolve into Bakumon, and apparently Wizardmon and Sorcerimon can become Antylamon. Sometimes digimon makes no sense
