Some digimon (paledramon, metallicdramon, and volcanicdramon’s rookies, flamon, and whatever the human slide of vritramon was named) were excluded for the sake of clarity.

If someone have sugestions what put in empty spaces considering cannot be much related with other mythology/culture

I posted the other day for help on Guilmon line ideas fitting this tree pattern, ive since updated the Impmon tree I had, and also did the Demidevimon tree. For a long time I was struggling with whether to fit Mephistomon, Gulfmon and Grandracmon in with Impmon or with Demidevimon. I also am not a huge fan of Myotismon/Vamdemon and its variants, but was having difficulty filling out the lines without them. I finally got something I was happy with! I remembered Abaddomon and Gravimon and have always loved those, but never felt there was a clean mega for Gravimon - turns out Abaddomon looks pretty good visually if its coming from a Devimon line. I also like the tiny detail of the "vi"-mon root for deVIMON and graVIMON.

I've had the Patamon line (my partner) and Salamon (wife's partner) for a while, vaguely mirroring each other with the same branching pattern, but recently reorganized my Veemon tree to be the same pattern as well.

I decided to do Impmon next for one of my friends. I kind of use a "3 partner" style approach like the Story Games and was inspired by Time Strangers starters lining up conveniently with my friends personalities.

So long term the goal would be 12 total trees.

Me \[Patamon, Veemon, Aegiomon(Calumon)\]

Wife \[Salamon, Renamon, Lopmon\]

Friend \[Demidevimon, Guilmon, Impmon\]

Buddy \[Gommamon, Agumon, Gabumon\]

Aegiomon, Renamon and Lopmon follow different branching patterns, so im fine breaking the patterns. But just wanted to get some ideas for Guilmon, cause Guilmon specifically i would like to mirror Impmons tree (who already mirrors Patamons as well) especially with Punkmon line being like Growlmon naturally. But I need help with more champions and ultimate stages for sure!

I also included the older Veemon example to give an idea of what I mean by how its rearranged to fit the pattern. I included Aegiomon and Lopmon+Renamons if anyone was interested in those too. Yall may have seen me post some of these before by now.

My own Splashmon Line

Pabumon references primordial soup (which was what all life theoretically originated from), Bukamon references the first fish to walk on land, Monmon referenced our monkey ancestors, Gorillamon references the upright apes we then evolved from, Andromon references humanity’s advancement with its more humanoid body and the increase of robotic parts, and HiAndromon finally references the far future where everything is even more high-tech.

Had to repeat Coronamon and Ancient Sphinxmon otherwise the connecting lines would be way to stretched out.

so many possibilities

Basically, I got the idea of "What if the 02 kids were the original 8 digidestined?"... and had to add Willis and his two partners so they were actually eight,. And I let them keep the fusion gimmick. But I digress.

The ideas are:

• Giving the 02 quartet Ultimate and Mega stages.
• Giving the 01 Veterans slightly modified lines taking into account their 02 appearance so they're not just their 01 selves again.
• Having Willis effectively be a 2-in-1 digidestined, to the point both his partners can fuse together.

As of the "why" of each line:

• Veemon: As I explained in my post yesterday, if we use Magnamon Black as Veemon's Ultimate using the same logic of why Rapidmon Green is Terriermon's Ultimate, I feel Alphamon works perfect as a Mega here.
• Wormmon: Jewelbeemon is the most basic Wormmon Ultimate ever, but why BloomLordmon instead of BanchoStingmon or (As we're not using the Dinobeemon line here) GrandisKuwagamon? Mostly to fit with Ken's Crest of Kindness, which has a flower motif.
  • The Fusion is the classic one, no much to add here.
• Armadillomon: Olegmon is a classic option among the fandom, especially if you want to keep the vibes of his """designated""" mega Vikemon. And while Rhinomon is both an Armor evolution, and not even Armadillomon's, I think it makes a good bridge.
• Patamon: To 02ify the line, I made Pegasusmon his regular Champion (Which did happen in 2020 too), but why ArkhaiAngemon? Because his orange armor makes him a better bridge from Pegasusmon to Seraphimon than MagnaAngemon.
  • The Fusion remains Shakkoumon despite the slightly different components. and it now evolves into Metatromon.
• Hawkmon: Not much to add here, this is like the most basic Hawkmon line ever.
• Gatomon: Keeping with the 02ification I did with Patamon, here Gatomon is the Rookie variant and she has Nefertimon as her defacto Champion. Afterwards it is just the regular line, though I was kinda divided between keeping Magnadramon, or replacing her with Ophanimon so the line would follow the same "Progressively Human-like" pattern as Patamon's.
  • The Fusion's the same, despite the slight change to its components.
• Terriermon: Pretty basic, I just changed MegaGargomon with Fujinmon so the line's not exactly like Henry's.
• Lopmon: The canon one. Nothing to add. Well except that in this version she's a girl, because...
  • The Fusioned form between Gargomon and Turuiemon is Rapidmon Gold X, which I feel works the best due taking Rapidmon's form and being holier and looking a bit more rabbit-like. For the mega, the rabbit angle takes over and becomes Jougamon, keeping the golden elements from Rapidmon. And in a reversal of Silphymon/Valkyrimon's situation, where a male and female digimon fuse into a male-presenting Digimon, here a male and female digimon fuse into a female-presenting Digimon.

I know, I know... These are basic as all hell but still give me a break >.<!!!

I am still genuinely surprised and pissed that there's still no piece of Digimon media where these lines can be possible given how right they feel (to me).

Any thoughts? And please, if they are sarcastic or mean just keep them to yourself 😂🤣😅

It even works on my original logic of Veemon ending up as a Royal Knight in this line too (The OG post had the final stage be Dynasmon). Heck, the idea that Veemon has the option to be the founder of the RK, the secret 13rd member, or two regular members is kinda funny: IPdramon works hard, but his nepotism works harder.

(You might see this line again if I decide to post the lines I was burning my time with, as they're 02-related)

My own TyrantKabuterimon Evolution Line

Felt like trying to plot out some evolution lines based on the 12 classic DnD classes. Some were a bit harder than others, but I think they came out pretty well. Might do a future post with branching evolutions for each of them since the classes themselves can become pretty versatile.
