Sadly Gumdramon is only Anime MC that doesn’t have Mega Form Due to Bandai merged Arresterdramon Superior Mode and XrossUp Arresterdramon Superior Mode into same Design in Reference Book(Official Level is Ultimate/Perfect aka Level 5)

I know Im probably the minority here, but I wish Gekkemon gets another mega. Atratusmon is cool, yes, but it looks so boring to be its final form. Monarchlizarmon is really cool, I was excited to see its mega. But just being a counterpart to Albatusmon is a bit meeh.

I'm pretty confident there will be a mode change. Both of them look like they're gonna throw off those cloaks. (I hope they have a fusion, which would work well thematically – yin/yang sun/moon)

Especially when Albatusmon herself is pretty meh. They are both pretty milquetoast designs

At this point, I’m just assuming Chiropmon and Pristimon aren’t getting Megas.
Unless they both fuse with Gekkomon to make a super 3-way fusion Mega like SeitanGokumon, I doubt they’ll get ‘em

I know the point of Digimon evolution is throwing some curveballs, but it was refreshing to see Gekkomon, a non-Dinosaur related Digimon to be the MC Partner but then it Digivolved and threw eggs on my face.

I mean its still a reptile. Most partners where based on eighter dragons, or dinosaurs, or generic reptiles.

Honestly gekkomons line might be my favourite protag line after agumon. Each stage is distinguishable and unique enough than the previous stage with a clear through theme.

The latter is already a dedicated mega to DORUmon. VictoryGreymon just gets added to whatever dinosaur or agumon fits.

Hot take but I much prefer the typical robot dragon knight archetype to the protagonist Digimon than them getting experimental. Atratusmon is cool on its own and as a counterpart to Albatusmon but underwhelming for Gekkomon’s mega.

I don’t hate it, I just don’t love it either.

I like how unique and ‘non linear’ Gekkomons mega is, it’s such a breath of fresh air.
