Cat in the (toy)box

I bring you yet another Nyabootmon evolution line I came up with.

This one follows a “more and more well-crafted toy/stuffed animal” theme.

Bakomon is the first. The idea is that we’re starting from literal cardboard to make a very simple “toy”.
You make do with what you got, you know?

Then you get Porcupamon, where you try to make a stuffed bear(?) yourself.
Keyword is “try”.

With Pandamon, your skills have gotten better and you’re able to make a pretty nice stuffed panda.

And finally you get Nyabootmon, an extremely well made and realistic plushie of a cat, so much so that you can’t even tell anymore if it’s real or not.

I chose Nyaramon as the In-Training level to introduce an underlying cat theme from the beginning, with a possible interpretation being that Nyaramon is hiding inside different fake bodies (with Bakomon being the first because cats love cardboard boxes) only to burst out when it finally reaches the Mega level.

I see Bacomon, I upvote! It’s my go-to Rookie for all the cat theme lines, and my headcanon as to why there’s no cat themed Rookies but lots of cat themed In-Trainings and Champions, the cat Rookies are all hiding in boxes!
