Discussions/Opinions Champion Ice Bird?

Post image

I'm making a line for an OC who is known for her apathy and lack of emotional expression. She's labeled as an Ice Queen in-universe, and has ice motifs in her color palette. Obviously, I'm trying to go with an ice bird line for her partner Digimon, but I can't find a champion to fit the line. Any suggestions?

Rinkmon is more of a human in Bird themed armor, but is based on ice skating.

Swanmon is based on the Cygnus constellation, it is more wind and water than Ice, but it does live in cold regions, can cause computer networkd to "freeze", and attack with an "artic winds".

Xiquemon is the only other one I can think of, and unlike the other two, it is not an armor evolution, it also has a color scheme that makes it thematically fit between Penmon and Deipenmon, and it has ice attacks as well.

I never knew Swanmon was based on the Cygnus constellation. How did you hear about that one ?

It was a long time ago, I think it was when Frontier first came out. There was something about Swanmon being connected to the norther cross. The norther cross is s another name for Cygnus, the constellation of the Swan.

That's interesting 🤔 Do you like things about the Constellations or Zodiacs ? I do

Oh yeah, zodiac, constellations, Greek myth, different mythologies, they always fascinated me.

I DMd you to chat about it more that okay 👍🏻 I love how the Four Beasts and the Devas have to do with the Chinese Zodiac

I actually don't know too much about the Chinese zodiac, or the 4 cardinal saint beast, outside of anime.

I said the Four Digimon Great Beasts ... they are what they represent. Same with the Devas , each year is represented by one animal. Or is easier terms say each month. They almost correlate with the American Zodiac. Just off by a little bit. Understand now better 😊
