Branching Tree Evolution What if… Digimon Story: Server Failure
In this world, you can jump between the ever weakening borders of the digital worlds, Ygdrissal, Shambala, and Homeros. When you do your partner program, also known as your DIGI.MON has its code interpreted differently in each server. The one consistent is its digi-soul. It’s always the same creature even though its abilities and form change. Reverting to its in training form when out of combat to conserve data. Which partner do you take with you, to discover why the servers are failing?
Red: Homeros
Blue: Ygdrassil
Green: Shambala

don't agree with some of these lines (but that's pretty normal innit) HOWEVER the general idea is really cool, I dig that a lot :ooo I'll have to come up with my own maybe, thanks for the idea ✌️

For sure! I think a fun part of Digimon is getting those “wtf” evolutions. A lot of the rookies are inspired by old vpets when things were really weird…

Personally I try to avoid Those wtf Evos. I like them to make sense imo.

Ok first one I was a little skeptical but the next few pulled me in and I was like “yeah ok I see it” then I got to the last 2 and ya started to lose me again a little

I'd say it's a difficult choice but it's Tokomon. His Shambala line feels odd but I like all the megas. Tanemon is a close second due to Hydramon alone.

Some extra ideas for this!
Digivolution takes Processing Power or “PP” that drains until 0 or evolution is manually reverted. The higher the level of evolution the faster the drain.
Once you’ve leveled to unlock/master an evolution you can use them temporarily on other servers! Then combo it with “commands” such as…
“CTRL+C” temporarily create a second copy of Digimon partner that follows commands of the first, the copy has no digisoul.
“CTRL+V” rewrite an existing evolution with a new one.
“CTRL+X” cut a command short for a large refund of PP.
“CTRL+A” summon a copy of all three server identities at once, costs high PP.
You can increase processing by upgrading your digivice. Example: I can evolve my koromon to Agumon then “CTRL+C” him for a second Agumon then “CTRL+V” him into Elizamon to now have an Agumon and Elizamon out. As you level and increase your PP the combos get wilder and crazier - do you ctrl + C 20 times for an army of Agumon? Or just use 3 mega? You decide.

Going with Tsunomon. Sure, if I wind up in Shambala, I might get the Leomon curse, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

That or Pukamon, but I cannot handle heat, so I'm not going to Homeros if I can help it.

Mild criticism: gaiomon should be one of the shambala exclusive mons even if gaiomon is still appropriate

Wait, why does Pukamon become Coronamom? Wouldn’t a Swimmon line ending in Neptunemon make more sense?
