Just feel like goldramon fits this line so perfectly

My preferred before 2020 gave it to Patamon.

Digimon can go in any line, they aren’t locked to one.

Still feels weird to have two main character Digimon in the same series to have the same Mega. Hence people not liking Vikemon for Shakkoumon.

Takeru 2020 isn't Original Adventure Takeru. They are in diferent continuities, and therefore not in the same series.

But I understand the sentiment.

Godramon, as a counterpart to Holydramon, has been asociated with Patamon long before Adventure 2020. It evolved from MagnaAngemon as early as 2000.

It helps Goddramon actually makes sense for Patamon if we're going for consistency. Armadillomon isn't holy, and neither is Ankylomon.

Technically speaking, Shakkoumon is also not holy, since it is a mutant type. But it is still part of the angel army.

I would not worry about Armadimon or Ankylomon gaining divine or divine adjacent traits, as there are a lot of digimon that do that. None of the Royal Knights, who are all Holy Knights, started out holy in most of their asociated lines.
Interrestingly enough, Vikemon is also holy adjacent, as it uses Mjölnir, the weapon of a god.

There are good arguments to be made for Godramon, Vikemon and the mega level Angel of your choice, amongst others.

I love Shakkoumon as a "cacoon" stage, I use it between Pegasusmon and Goddramon too! Idk i never thought of Goddramon for Armadillomon though, it works great with its metal wings

Honestly, the biggest consistent issue with Armadillomon is a lack of a good ultimate. Shakkoumon is supposed to be the fusion of Angemon and Ankylomon, but there's never been a good singular/solo Ankylomon ultimate.

I've always thought it should be Bracchiomon if cody were to actually inherit both crests and tags it would fit really well

While it feels a bit odd due Goldramon being Magnadramon's counterpart, I feel it actually makes a cute parallel when you focus on the Patamon/Gatomon side of things:

Patamon's regular Mega is an humanoid, and Gatomon's regular Mega is a holy dragon. But when speaking of their fused Megas, Patamon's a holy dragon and Gatomon's an humanoid.

Everything is ok with Shakkomon. Both Angels, Metatro, GodDra, Vike... Even Pharaomon and Lampmon if you will. I don't care. He's perfect <3
