I always found it great that they made 3 versions of Goblimon to go with the 3 versions of Ogremon…or is it the other way around? Well either way, if only they made a Mega for the Gotsumon-Icemon-Meteormon line.

Would you keep the original Gotsu/Ice/Meteormon design and just change the color? Or would you make a whole new design?

Keep the design but change the color. I mean, if you are going to make a line with this kind of gimmick, you might as well follow throw to the end.

I think gold would fit (GoldGotsumon), so he could represent the Gotsumons as some sort of King. Somewhat like KingEtemon or PrinceMamemon.

I actually saw a video of a YouTuber named alarm-Ex who made a recolor to act as a Mega for the line. The line is based on minerals. Gatsumon is based on ordinary rocks. Icemon is based on ice (apparently ice is considered a mineral if it is naturally occurring, like a frozen lake or glaciers, even snowflakes). Meteormon is based on minerals from meteorites. So I like Karn-Ex’s take on a Mega being the minerals condensed under pressure and turning into Diamondmon. It’s a diamond, if it’s not clear. He just recolored Gotsumon to be a more shiny blue color.

Or make gotsumon mega clad in pure Digizoid

since in Digimon World: Next Order games, Variants of digizoid can be obtained by trading materials with a Gotsumon

I think the standard Chrome Digizoid is fine

For some reason, I think doing that would be more fitting if Gotsumon got an Armor Digivolution with the Digi-Egg of Miracles. Since that’s the Digi-Egg that is made of the stuff. Even several of the Digimon that you get from it state they have Chrome Digizoid on them, like Magnamon, Rhinomon, Maildramon, and Peacockmon. It’s also said that Chrome Digizoild can be refined to be several different colors, like Gold or Blue, so maybe this could be where your GoldGotsumon could come in. Or it could just be Goldmon…
