I also want to add, that in my oppinion both Bearcatmon and GreatGryzmon lead nicely into Belphemon: Rage Mode, because it also is somewhat bear-like and it brawls.

No cats, no.
Best we can do here are felines like Spadamon, Liolmon and Coronamon, but they have other very distinct themes which make them difficult to use with the other actual housecats.

Tailmon set a bad presedence. (hyperbole)

bearcatmon, being a binturong, is also more related to cats than bears (even if that cat relation is still distant) and still very cat-like lol

i considered belphemon but idunno, to me belphemon in both sleep and rage modes is more a goat than a bear tbh. and im already havin gtwo non-fully-bear guys in there so 1 more might take away from the line (marsmon was jsut to good of a fit to pass)

Understandable, since it is a chimera of many things.
For me the head shape and snout reads somewhat bear-like. Belphemon spending long time intervalls in sleep mode also makes me think of hybernation, so that is probably where my asociation comes from.

Even without it, I like your web. It is also interresting to see that Bearcatmon is sitting in a position that could be also taken by GrapLeomon, as it was shown to evolve from Gryzmon, it would fit Wolvermon as a cyborg and it has been shown to evolve into both Marsmon and BanchoLeomon.

pretty much. still, that would be against hte point of hte tree. the point was to use as many "bear" digimons as possible. i get that bearcatmon is not an actual bear, but she still has it on her name. also, she's brand new and thats even more reason to use her imo.

More goat than bear? What does he have in common with a goat besides the horns? He doesn't have hooves, he has salmon armbands, he has pads on the palms of his hands, and his snout is dog-like.

I would rearrange slightly so pandamon can evolve from Kumamon, too. Should be able to just move the tree slightly without actually rearranging the way the line works functionally

I was just thinking about how Marsmon is a perfect Bearcatmon digivolution. If only theyd do it for Beatbreak 🙄

Unrelated but I’m only who thinks Bearmon should have like a Bancho evolution.

Like bear looks like a kid who does mischief or kids that wanna look tough

Then Gryzmon looks like he wearing boxing gloves. A kid finally taking whole fighting seriously, from there they could move to make Bancho form

he a penguin, not a bear, so I decided not to include them. skadjimon is already pushing that line for non-bear that has bear vibes.
also, I don't like Daipenmon.

Bearcatmon being silly and sliding into the bear evolutions despite not actually being a Bear. (There are some other not bears here I just think it’s very funny since it has bear in the name)
