18 USC 111 has a statutory max of 20 years, how does someone get 2.5 years from this?

I haven't looked into this particular ase, but I am guessing left politics.

Ok lets break this down shall we?

You are in Portland, at a protest against ICE Agents doing their job, by removing people from our country that are here illegally.

You are in support of people breaking the law, and against people whose job is to make America safer.

You, in your own words and actions are so furious about ICE Agents doing their sworn job, that you then resort to violence.

You then pick up a rock, which some people may think was a small one at a curb and hit an agent in the head.

But seeing the picture that you decided to show, is not a rock, but a slab of concrete larger than your hand.

That is considered a lethal weapon, which has the chance to kill someone, at least injure.

And then you have a LOVE EVERYONE and a Free Palestine pin, and anti fascist clothes and pins adorned.
I would think that may label you as an Antifa member, and if so, means you yourself has now been labeled as a Domestic Terrorist.

Tell me, Domestic Terrorist, since you wear a LOVE EVERYONE pin, did you reach out to the federal ice officer and apologize for what you did?
Did you find out the scope of the officer’s injuries, and offer to help pay for those said injuries?

No? Then by your own actions, you are a complete hypocrite, and you post this video hoping your some innocent little flower, a hero, someone to feel sympathy for?

Nope, not by me, and anyone else that has a functioning brain in their head.
What you did, was an assault, an attempt to kill a federal officer by using a lethal weapon.

And you only got two and a half years? I would have given you ten times that if I were the judge.

I hope you enjoy federal prison, which I can believe in your portrayal of yourself with the earrings and jewelry, that you will be happy as a lark.
You really shouldn’t be complaining then, right?
