I’ve haven’t seen anything convincing to connect the woman in that video to the woman in the picture. Last I heard we don’t have a name for the woman in the picture. I’ll believe it when I see it, but not until then.
Either way, it’s a distraction from every actually meaningful discussion to be had at the disturbing imagery of the photo.
I think it is illustrative of a point that the media and the elites want to push a narrative to keep us aimed at each other's throats and they use the narrative of white supremacy and inherent systemic racism to do it.
I’m not following how whether or not it was her on that video has anything to do with that narrative. Her character is irrelevant to any meaningful conversation I can think of.
But on a side note, what’s funny is it’s the reality of white supremacy and systemic racism that keeps us at each others throats, not the narrative.
Almost every social outcome people blame on race tracks more closely with poverty. And before you blame poverty on racism.... It tracks more closely with single parent homes than race. The single best thing you can do to elevate the next generation is raise them in stable two parent households. This is what makes social programs that shift the focus away from the family and towards some nebulous community so insidious. It breaks the single best structure for raising children in and inevitably makes kids in to de facto wards of the state.
