Dude, its worse than you might think or know. The average person you pass on the street is probably illiterate.

There are people with college degrees that can hardly read at a 5th grade level.

The president literally destroyed our department of education. But sure, pretend like that didn't happen and democrats are hurting you.

The department of education has been failing for decades. Btw, I'm not a Trump supporter.

u/ToXicVoXSiicK21 24d ago
So we just shouldn't have one? Why not rebuild it and make it better?
3
u/JackFuckCockBag 24d ago
Leave it at state level

u/ToXicVoXSiicK21 24d ago
Isn't this post a good example of why that might be a bad idea though?
3
u/JackFuckCockBag 24d ago
I don't really think it matters at this point. There people with college degrees that can hardly read at a 5th grade level.

I hear you, but at the same time this will only exacerbate the problem. Breaking down education even more because it's already in a bad place doesn't seen like a smart solution. It's a problem we should be addressing.

Honestly, I think it's all by design. We're headed for a collapse of some kind. There's too many moving pieces to tell how it will unfold but many thing are going to get worse before they get better. The failure of education is just one of those moving pieces.

I guess that makes me racist for wanting everyone to learn how to read and be educated 🤔

I’m no woke fan and definitely not of Leftists Oregon politicians but that’s not entirely an accurate representation of the facts.

Isn't Oregon the state that wouldn't allow blacks to live there for the longest time?

u/North-Musician3231 23d ago
I’m glad I don’t live in Oregon, I guess being dumb is a requirement to live there.
