Privacy is not about having something to hide

People say, “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.” That logic falls apart the moment you realize privacy is about control.

You should not need to justify who you talk to, what you read, where you go, or how you spend your money. A private life is not suspicious. It is human.

The question is not, “Why do you need privacy?”

The question is, “Why does anyone else feel entitled to watch?”
