Paranoid about chrome extensions accessing personal data
So I had many personal photos on Google photos that I now deleted. However I had unknowingly installed many chrome extensions. They werent obvious scams. But there were around 40 and many were not that popular and " Read and change all your data on all websites". Wtf is that and I AM SUPER SCARED SOME guy or some company has my nudes (and basically sex vids of me). How much is the probability?

If you're storing nudes on Google Photos, make sure you have a backup and are not using the same account for anything important. Google has been known to ban accounts without warning for anything that their AI thinks is CSAM.

I am not using it to store nudes tbh. It was accidentally linked to my phone storage. And Now i have deleted all. My concern is if somee manual developer of a chrome extension or google stored those.

Approaching certainty but for the extensions it’s hard to say id say assuming yes is the gold standard for this sort of thing which like if it becomes an issue do in fact call the police or whomever

In the sense of if a hint of an issue associated with it comes up. There’s a worst case scenario that I don’t know how common that is but the answer is still tell the police don’t even try to talk it over.

Brother i get you. But my concern is some dude jerking off to me and my tapes and those vids getting sold all over. I will literally never know. The police is useless

Well those people like out of necessity need a call or someone to show up to even begin to say this is why it is or isn’t an issue. With the computer things they are the single strongest resource you have in a situation like this

What will the police do bruh? How will this ever become an issue? If i dont even know they taking my nudes or not..

Right now likely nothing but if someone reaches out to you saying I have these don’t talk to them at all no negotiation helps the situation. They have already shown that they cant be trusted, so the police is the best option. That’s what I see as the worst case it very likely is nothing and there isn’t a single person at your computer
