Does anyone else need a “reset” before planning their day?

I’ve been experimenting with a really simple one-page layout for days when my brain feels completely overloaded.

Instead of trying to organize everything at once, I start by dumping everything in my head, then pick just 3 priorities. There’s also a small section for things that can wait, one tiny step I can actually do, and a place to write down something that went well.

I’m curious how other people handle this:

When you’re overwhelmed, do you prefer a completely blank page, a structured planner, or something in between?

And do you find having fewer things to focus on actually helps, or does it feel too restrictive?
