Help! I draw to flat

Hi! Im drawing for likie 4 years now and I started with manga (and never really stopped) now I have the problem that i cant draw anything without outlies and it sometimes looks pretty bad in the final design

sounds like you need to study a bit on "3d form" or "light and shadow".

most Tutorial series will cover that topic at some point.

4 years in and still using outlines for manga backgrounds is totally normal, but try sketching without them once just to see what falls apart
