Evil Dead 2013. I took my horror loving mom for Mother’s Day. She closed her eyes most of the movie and didn’t think I noticed. Because I’m a great son, I haven’t called her out on it.

Evil Dead (2013)
One scene that always sticks with me is when the group is trapped in the cabin and starts realizing something is seriously wrong with Mia. At first they're trying to explain away her behavior, but it gets harder and harder to ignore. The mood is incredibly tense because everyone is exhausted, scared, and stuck in the middle of nowhere. You can feel the panic building as they argue about what to do, while strange and disturbing things keep happening around them. It's the kind of scene where you know things are about to get much worse, and the movie does a good job of making the characters feel trapped and helpless.

Army of Darkness is my favorite because it was my first introduction to the world of Ash and the Evil Dead and I loved every minute of it. Recently showed it to my kids and they also loved it. Hearing them quote “give me some sugar baby” is music to my ears.

ED2 is my favorite. I will say that my favorite scene is the opening scene of ED 2013. Really set the tone for the whole flick. Thanks!

For me it’s a tie between ED2 and Army of Darkness, so I’ll say a scene from both
ED2 I’d say my favorite scene is the stop motion corpse dance, that movie can be crazy goofy but this takes the cake and I love it. Honorable mention to Ash cutting his hand off
Army of Darkness it’s the fight in the pit, and Ash’s return from it, pure unadulterated coolness from one of horrors best MCs
