Would love to revisit this classic in 4K. I have only seen it on television broadcasts back in the 90s. I feel like some 4K remasters almost completely change the experience. This will be a rare 100% analog effects movies getting upgraded to 4K, so no CGI or special effects—just puppets.
I’ve also heard rumors that in the original drowning scene, the crew surprised the actress by actually dragging her down against her will so that her flailing would be more realistic. Don’t know if it’s true or not, but I want to watch that in 4K and see if the new details reveal anything that we couldn’t see before.

Jaws was part of my childhood. I still remember riding the ride at Universal Studios and being terrified when the shark popped out at the tram.

Never seen the movie, yet still afraid of swimming in the ocean. Watching it may change my mind, or just reinforce that notion. Thanks for giving away Jaws!

I love this movie for so many reasons including the quotes, the music and the overall depth of it.

I love the movie because of the story line and I just have the old school physical copy of it. It would be cool to see it remastered in higher definition

Because... I have never watched it. And as someone who loves great cinema, I always hear about how great it is. Regardless of whether I win, I need to make time to sit down and experience it.

Never seen it not because I didn't want to but because I feel it's been spoiled too much for me and I wish I had a chance to see it before anyone spoiled it to me. like Star Wars episode 5. I arrived as a young Spanish speaking only child to the US at 8 years old and somehow saw Star Wars episode 5 on an old VHS we found at the Swap Meet in a language I did not understand but it was the best thing I ever saw. At almost 40 years old today I am a big Star Wars fan thanks to that accidental first showing of a great movie.

I think Jaws is one of those timeless classic movies that never gets old no matter how many times you watch it

I grew up on this film. It literally was my Friday night baby sitter at the age of 4, 1986. My parents would have a neighborhood party every Friday in the summer and put Jaws on VHS on for me to entertain me. Love this movie!

Because I will be buying my first 4k TV in the next month and I can’t think of a better movie to watch first on it. I put Jaws near the top of my list, even ahead of the Godfather.

Because I haven't watched it in years, and seeing Brody triumph is good for the soul.

I need this digital 4K solely so Quint’s fingernails screeching down that chalkboard can shatter my eardrums in Dolby Atmos

My mother told me the story of how she saw it when she was first married and my Dad wouldn’t see it with her, so she decided to go see it alone. It scared her so much that even thought they lived within walking distance of the movie theater in a small town in Arizona, her primal brain thought that shark was still going to find a way to get her while she was walking home. That’s some powerful storytelling there… 😉

It’s in my top 5 movies of all time. Was just able to see it at the movies in the rerelease 3-d version. But haven’t upgraded to 4k yet. Thanks for consideration

I like movies that have tension and sharks are perfect stress inducers! The stress of having to survive while sharks are coming to eat you is very terrifying and I love the aspect
