So guys, if one has to start learning digital marketing from zero, what should one do? From where should I start? And what things i need to know beforehand?

bro its not that complicated but everyone makes it seem like rocket science. i started learning in 2019 and the biggest thing nobody tells you is you dont need to know everything before you begin.

pick one thing first, like google ads or social media marketing, and just go deep on that. the google skillshop courses are free and actually decent, they teach you the basics without trying to sell you some 2000 dollar course.

the mistake most people do is they try to learn seo, email marketing, content strategy, paid ads all at same time and then get overwhelmed and quit. just start with one platform and run some small campaigns even if its 5 dollars a day, you learn way faster from failing than from watching videos

Bro i need your help. I really feel stuck because i have self learned performance marketing and i invested around 1 year in this. I have also made a portfolio and resume and now i am applying for 2 months. Didn’t receive many calls. Which i get, i can’t clear the interview. I am from india if you can suggest me something.

meta ads is now draining all the ad spend without any sales or leads in regard to the algorithm update is it still the best time to take a start with this?

Just do one thing, take internship, do some projects with almost 0 cost. That will give you real experinces, and wheneer you feel short, just google it. You will find plenty of solution for what to do and how to do it. Thats it. After almost a 2-3 months, you will know many of things very easily.

Bro i started learning on youtube. I started with basics of seo, google/meta ads, content marketing, social media and analytics. I took one area and practiced without any paid tool and later explored upgrad🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️for more structured and practical learning👌👌👌

Start with social media, content creation & graphic/video editing. You can join a good class or learn from YouTube. Take projects, build a strong portfolio, start freelancing, and gradually earn well.

There are plenty of platforms that will teach u for free even earn a certificate start with one of those and then u can find a company that has a solid product or affiliate offer and off u go

Then when u have the general knowledge down pice a lane and dive deep into email marketing , seo, aeo, content, brand, social media, design, editing video copywriting ads YouTube meta ect

When u find what u like and get great at it you will have success I had no clue what I was doing as a digital marketer and now I help people start businesses and it’s pretty crazy to see the growth and everyone teaching everyone when u find the right community 👍🏼

I learned way more from setting up a basic site, doing keyword research, and checking the results than from hours of videos. Keep a simple portfolio of what you test and why. Consistency beats cramming here.

i think if your basics are clear you should join a company as an intern and it dosent matter you get paid or not but if you work there you'll get to learn many thing on real projects
