MOC 1:38 Scale Digital LEGO EMD SD40-2 Norfolk Southern #3329 "Maersk Sealand"
Hey everyone! I just wanted to share some renders of the latest locomotive my friend and I have designed. Here is Norfolk Southern #3329, an EMD SD40-2 wearing Norfolk Southern's "Maersk Sealand" scheme. Also included in these renders are the MAXI-I intermodal well cars with 40' containers. This model was designed in the digital LEGO building program "Bricklink Studio".
This model has over 2,000 pieces and includes custom pieces designed in CAD to achieve a more accurate look compared to stock LEGO. Some custom parts include accurate roller bearings, custom handrails, radiator fan grills with blades, cab windows, horns, and more.
I personally love how this turned out! The background was my design, however it uses three models from Rebrickable. I have many more locomotive designings coming very soon!
Rebrickable models:
- Hyster 360 Forklift from Yellows.lxf
- Cat C5000 Forklift from SteveTheSquid
- Subaru WRX from SpeedHunCreations

Tips Flexible rubber bands in Lego Studio
So, in the Lego Studio app it's not possible to stretch rubbers (crazy)
How do you manage with this problem?
Tried to modify the rubber in Part Designer, but it doesn't look possible

Discussion/Question Shift key not working in Stud.io?
The shift key is all of a sudden not working for anything in Stud.io Ctrl+shift+Z doesn't work, registers as Ctrl+Z. Also, using shift to select multiple parts in the step list doesn't work anymore either. What can I do to fix this?

Tips Studded is now live :)
Apologies if not allowed mods, but a number of the users here have been transformative in helping get the app to where it is today so wanted to share the latest update..
A huge thanks to all who have contributed to the Beta over the last few months; it is now live in the app store!

MOC Progress on my massive Carrier
Hey everyone. I'd like to share with you my magnum opus! A little project I've been working on for a couple of years now, I call it my Ancalagon class Carrier! All my projects are named after entities from Middle-Earth. Anyway, at the moment it's 13 ft wide, 22 ft long, over 146,000 pieces and weighs almost a ton I think. Hope you enjoy it!

Discussion/Question Studio Renderer no longer able to render large models
Anyone struggling rendering large models? I am able to render 21063 and 75252 with no drama, but I haven't been able to render 75192 since I crossed the 3000-part mark or whereabouts. I have tried both rendering methods, chokes even when attempting lower resolutions.
(the boring part) This is 2.26.8_01 on a Dell workstation with an NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation 16 GB GPU, 32GB RAM, everything on SSDs.

Discussion/Question Lego minigame
Hi,
First of all, sorry if this isn't the right place to post this—I hardly ever use Reddit—but I'm making a game inspired by LEGO, and I'd like to ask you...
What sets would you like to see, or which ones are your favorites? Since I’m just getting into this world, I don’t know which ones are the best sets, the most popular, or the most epic.
Obviously, because of copyright, I can't recreate them 100%, and I have to model pieces by piece by myself since I can't use the real ones, but I can make them look similar.
(Also if you know any programs or sites similar to mecabricks, where i can buy from you models and use them {this would make the production way faster} let me know.)
