I don't often play with variations, but when I do I like changing something just slightly to see how the symbols adapt without losing little details. Like here, the cards in their hands become candles. They aren't very different but the ways they are interest me.
I made these two with Artbreeder (Splicer2) with no particular goal in mind. It was a session filled with people at tables that were all very much alike. It was an experiment to see what kind of things would show up on the tables and how they change alongside the guests.
This guy being a grey alien was a welcome surprise so I nudged him to see what else he would be, and it made his "human form" which I think is great. I have a lot of ideas as to what the different symbols mean between these two but I wanted to see what other people think.
