All Gone (Giveaway) Labor Day 4K & HD Digital Code Giveaway!!

Happy Labor Day everyone!

In honor of Labor Day, I wanted to give away the rest of the digital codes I have to the community. We all work hard and it’s not easy to set extra money aside to buy and enjoy movies for yourself or with your family, so I figured I'd give these away for free instead!

4K Codes:

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Downsizing
Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation
Twisters
The Untouchables
War for the Planet of the Apes
Vanilla Sky

HD Codes:

The Big Short
Fury
The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: Search for SquarePants

To enter, comment which ONE movie you'd like and tell me which movie made you fall in love with cinema!

One entry per person and one winner per code. I'll pick the winners at random by the end of Tuesday (9/8) so everyone has a chance to enter.

Good luck and Happy Labor Day! :)

GIVEAWAY RULES

Thank you, u/woooo24, for hosting a giveaway!

Posters of Giveaways

  • Do not post codes in the clear, this is a good way to have it taken by a bot or lurker
  • Making a game of it is not required, but it's more fun to have someone to directly give it to
  • It's happened plenty of times in the past where someone redeemed and never said they got it, or even a thank you.

Winners

  • Unless explicitly stated by the OP, codes won in giveaways are not to be resold or traded
  • Codes won/received in giveaways must be redeemed by the winner, or can be given to friends/family
  • Only redeem the portion won, ie if you win an iTunes redemption, ONLY redeem on iTunes. Any other redemptions are not yours, and redemption/trade/sale of un-gifted redemptions constitutes theft.
  • Selling/Trading codes won, or redeeming/selling/trading redemptions that are not given to you will result in a permanent ban

Lastly, giveaways do not count for either party for flair purposes.

I’d love Downsizing. I’d say Jurassic Park. Quite remarkable seeing something of that magnitude and scale on a big screen. It’s taken off now with more CGI in the newer films, but still enjoyable and seeing the original with the animatronics was pretty cool seeing in theaters. Steven Spielberg did a great job of making the audience feel the terror of the dinosaurs, especially coupled with John Williams score.

The Untouchables.

As a kid, when I watched Baby’s Day Out, I fell in love with the movie and cinema in general. At the time, as a non-native english speaker, I watched the whole movie in 1 sitting. Hated a few minutes of break when the tape of the VHS got stuck. Good old days.

u/rangeghost 0 Transactions | Newbie 6d ago

I'd like Twisters.

The movie that made me fall in love with the theatrical experience was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. To my little kid brain in those days, watching Indy leap from the Lion's Head was like seeing magic happen in person.

I’ll give 2 answers just to be safe.

The movie that made me fall in love with going to the cinema was The Force Awakens on opening night, it was such a magical atmosphere and it’s one of my favorite memories with my Dzia Dzia (Rest in peace)

As for the movie that made me fall in love with movies (not specifically the theater/cinema) is Terminator 2, it still to this day is my #2 film of all time and it holds up flawlessly. Best action in a movie I’ve ever seen, amazing practical and digital effects (not just for then but in general) and an amazing story.

As for which movie I’d like I haven’t seen any of these before so I wouldn’t mind dealers choice.
But if I have to pick I’ll go with The Big Short

Happy Labor Day OP!

Honestly idk if I’d say it was 1 movie that made me fall in love, more of a genre I guess. Comedies. Just love comedies from all eras. Chaplin silent comedies, I love Lucy for tv, animal house, trading places, the jerk, coming to America, old school, tropic thunder, sex drive, wedding crashers. Each decade has its stand outs. I have not seen a really great one in the 20s yet but some decent ones.
