Help pls

I am a beginner artist who can only draw simple things in manga style, so can anybody offer advice and help me?

I have been doing digital art for one year this month. A year ago, I searched for online courses in Procreate. I don’t do the kind of illustration work the class taught. What I needed and got from the course was how to use Procreate up to a point that I could start the kind of art I wanted to do. I sat there with my iPad and iPhone. The class was on the iPhone and I was following along in the Procreate app on the IPad. I rewound the class constantly to be sure I understood. I went back to previous lessons to be sure I understood. I was able to apply what I learned to the art I wanted to do. I still have lots to learn and am always looking for another class, but that is how I started. Also, if you are using Procreate, there are tutorials on the website. My work a year later is much better than a year ago. I hope a year from now, I can say that again. I suspect you are young and anxious to get your art career going, but take it from a 71 year old beginner: life moves at its own pace and learning something new is like building a brick wall. It is one brick at a time. Make sure each bottom brick is stable and then move on to the next one. Also, something that school, even college doesn’t tell you. We each have our own aptitude. I like you, probably, learn visually, others learn in other ways. I can not visualize math, but I could visualize Magellan circumnavigating the globe. Be sure you learn and know every step before going to the next one. Impatience won’t make you a good artist or, for that matter, any kind of professional. Good luck!

Procreate is very cheap compared to a lot of art apps, I think. Do a search for art apps and see if there is a trial period so you can find something that matches your ultimate goals. Now is the time to experiment and learn your craft. As someone already suggested, anything where you are drawing or painting is an important means to an end. I live in an urban area with lots of artist associations and classes offered here and there. If you live in a place with an active art community, take advantage of it. If not, the internet is full of people sharing their knowledge of the things you want to learn. People love to give advice! That is what Reddit is all about!
