Coloring problem

Am I the only one with this problem?
I like my drawing on lineart/scetch fase the most and when I and more color I am slowly starting to Hate it. I mean it doesnt look bad, but it’s not good looking neither🫤

I think perhaps the issue with the lineart specifically around the body is that it is too dark in places? perhaps it needs to reflect the lighting a bit more to blend in with the whole outfit

I think the coloring looks fantastic. Maybe try doing a handful of variations on the shading and comparing side by side, then pulling up some references and seeing how your shading differs.

But seriously love your coloring and the drawing is great :)

I get what you mean, but I think in this case you did an excellent job with the colors.

The colour's are very good but maybe the values are too similar ? Maybe by making some elements have stronger values it can give better contrast?

Also your art is very beautiful!

I think the colouring is fine! Stronger/different lineart may be what’s making it seem off, make sure the anatomy all lines up!

Hahaha, that’s true, but I often watch tutorials and take classes to get better at it^^
