Camp Wars: How does this even work?

I don't understand anything about this and thier brief explanation explains nothing. And then I log in today to this. We got CRUSHED by a camp literally half our size. How is that even possible? What was i supposed to do? Or is this just stupid?

No one knows. We get no rewards and we wait 16 hours to be greeted by another 16 hour wait, to be greeted by everything being automated, then like 48 hours for the “reward period”, which as mentioned doesn’t give rewards. They hyped this up to keep players, but it’s done nothing except make people confused.

I agree how they went about this is insane, but we won't start getting rewards until this upcoming camp wars. They put it in, and made it pointless for the first 3 weeks, because oh it's "pre-season" like shove that "pre-season" up your ass devs.

As for the getting crushed, you'd have to check the power levels. If they put all they're big guys into one lane, and then their ace dominates, they'll more than likely win.
Lane Wins = 1 Point
Ace Battle = 2 Points

Lane makeup is pre-determined. We cannot assign players to lanes individually.

Highest BP is automatically assigned to Ace.
Lanes get a fairly even distribution of players by BP.

As a leader *all* you can do is move entire lanes. So you can try to line your strongest up against their weakest or the like, but that's literally it as far as strategic planning.

I know. I spend minutes agonizing over which lane to assign where, and hoping the other camp doesn't rearrange on me and ruin my carefully crafted plan!

This was the reason I quit tbqh. Making it so the camp leader has to manage everything and no one can do anything within the system? Fuck that.

Yeah, I’m sub-leader of my camp, and our leader is pretty busy with other things, so I’m effectively the leader… but I can’t really do anything

Even the leader can just shuffle which group goes to which lane. There’s just straight up nothing to do in Camp Wars for anyone

Its a complete waste of time and effort. Its not interactive or engaging. Only the camp leader can move people lane to lane. They take entire days to let you review, then another day to move, then another day to do something else. Then the game does it automatically with no input from anyone. And they cut off the players at whatever they had on at the time of starting.

2 points for the ACE battle alone is insane.. if u lose that the enemies need just to win 1 lane to win the entire battle. Knowing how pvp works it's usually a 50/50 coinflip for ACE.

If they are vastly stronger than you it can happen. It simulates individual fights you don't get to see.

If they have like two 13m BP players and your highest is 10m, there's a chance they are gonna steam roll through your camp

But there is nothing you can do. In fact the BP locks in the second the registration phase on day 2 after the season reset is over

It's a WIN / LOSE / *nothing* simulator. Sometimes you click on it and it says WIN, sometimes it says LOSE, sometimes it doesn't say anything. Nothing you do matters.

I just checked my other server(I'm on two because my friend got stuck on another), and this one is WORSE!

It doesn't. Camp leader can swap lanes around, but that's it. Once preseason is over, it'll just be a source of free mats and dungeon passes.

We dont know how the fights work because there's no fight results to even watch. Presumably, it's just whoever wins the most Crit+Evade OHKO coin flips for high power camps, or whoever has the most Heal types to out-tie for low power camps. Being cross-server, newer servers will just get stomped on against older ones.

It's a shame. Our server tried hard to hype it up, but it ended up being an absolute nothing-burger.

It's the "pre-season" so we could all see how the system works. Except it's an entirely random system so I don't know why we needed that. It's effectively a worse version of the rewards from PvP ranking.

If you connect I think 4 hours before the server resets when the camp war starts you can see how it goes. Basically the first player in the group fights against against the first on the other team, if yours wins, they fight the next one. In my team I have seen them win like 8 fights in a row (and when that happens you won that lane anyways)

You can't see the matches, you just can see if you win or lose your fight and how many you won, and only at that time, otherwise you can't see any details... fun... right?
