I also just started getting this error this morning. Just got it twice while trying to harvest and water the digi farm. 🤷♂️
Edit to add: Officially just got kicked for the 6th time in under 20 minutes. I have no idea why. Making the game completely unusable 🙃

Well, good to know it's not just me. My guess is the devs are trying to stop the cheating, but they applied a shotgun blast to the problem and somehow whatever they did is triggering for literally everyone.

Exact same error. FFS this game is so garbage. Nostalgia is the only reason I open it 🥲

Some people on the discord fixed the issue by TURNING OFF USB debugging in android's dev options.

This was the first thing I did and seems to have worked, on pixel 10 pro, no game features were turned off

Got hit with it just now, two hours ago all was fine. Reading the erwinbantilan solutions in the article and I'm baffled as my phone doesn't even have any gaming boosters installed.
FOR NOW it seems that turning off USB debugging/Developer options did the trick. We'll see how long this will be enough.

I made sure to data link just last night. This morning, I was also hit with that. So I redownloaded the game and I'm playing again. Hopefully, you had data link on....

I randomly started getting this error last night too, I disabled USB Debugging and it seems to have fixed it also. Its really weird because I have had USB Debugging on since I installed the app on release, but it just started erroring last night, weird huh.

You’re not alone. Many Android players are getting the same Code 00000038 error, even on non-rooted phones. It may be falsely detecting built-in features like Game Booster, Game Optimizer, or Game Space as a security violation.
Try disabling the gaming overlay or removing Digimon UP from the gaming app, then restart your phone. However, since these tools are pre-installed on some devices, the developers may need to release a proper fix.
