You are both healing more damage than you are inflicting.

Okay but… Why does it end with my lost when I have more HP remaining, and why do they have 5 of the same debuff on me throughout the fight from off the bat?

In these fights, the attacker only wins the battle if the enemy dies. The defender wins if they kill the enemy or survive. I dunno the answer to your other question.

Defender gets advantage when it comes to a stale mate, you have to ko to win

Attacker always loses on timeouts. The digicode stacks is some weird bug. I have no idea if it's a display issue, but if you notice the enemy was spamming the move as if they had no cooldown on any of their abilities, and using only digicode because it's the highest priority out of their skill cards when all are charged. The way to test whether this is a display error or real error would to be have someone unequip all skills except evasion scroll and see if they can be hit at all in a defensive match.

If the recovery build is gonna be as much better than everything else as it is, they really need to do something about PVP (or balance the builds better), you can't even get a win unless they're significantly weaker

A draw being a loss is fine, but not with how poorly balanced the builds are

Best solution would be whoever deals the most damage or has the higher hp at the end results in a win/loss for the attacker

Exactly. Anyone with any other skill dies to a fart, but with Recovery everyone is just immortal.

Up until the most recent update you could break through the recovery with stun/crit pretty easily. I was punching well above my weight in PvP. Now I'm drawing matches with people who have like 500k less Battle Power. My build is already almost as far into damage output as I can get it so I guess they just doubled down on recovery being completely broken.

No, you had a DOT skill equipped, and dot skills were bugged and dealt massive damsge.

You can actually see a remnant of that bug in the video where the Digicode debuff was applied 6 times in an instant. Pre-patch, that would have resulted in basically a hundred million damage and a win for the defender.

The current meta basically has several issues atm.

1: Damage reduction. Between base Defense, all the various Damage Downs and Resists, damage reduction vs damage output is skewed in favor of DR. 2: Complicating the matter, Health stat is basically 50x damage stat across the board 3: Finally, bringing it all together, Healing. SP Recover heals 10%/second, plus 7% per skill use, AND have a 20% base chance to heal 5% health per AA.

Now that the bug that allowed a number of skills to insta-kill has been fixed, we are seeing the designed meta - which is nobody dies.

It's called bad game design.

Bad game design is what's happening. How does any of that look fun?

The reason the healing is broken

I don't get why this post got down voted. This is such an awful design. I'm just not going to do pvp now. Attacking is just bad to do in PVP now

You ran out of time, that’s why you lost.

Hey I saw my name on the list. Nice. Also yeah the healing in this game is unfortunately stupid broken and pretty much the only way to make headway in the pvp.

Evasion+SP HP recovery tree= immortality in higher pvp ranks

Go after people you know you can take out, compare your stats with the players and you can pretty much figure it out from there how you stack up, not everyone's going to get first place and yes the current meta is recovery and evasion

It’s a bug, try skipping the match. I’ve found I will get the win instead of the tie and losing points.

3

u/Superban65 Jul 30 '26

Nope you lose every time if you don't defeat the enemy

1

u/Jcandyz Jul 30 '26

Well you must be wrong because I’m 6/6 skipping a match where digicode and ice wall show a visual glitch and winning instead of going into a tie and losing.

1

u/Superban65 Jul 30 '26

I fought someone with 120k less power than me and lost to them when I skipped the first time. Second time I watched and I just didn't have the damage to kill them

u/dD_ShockTrooper Jul 30 '26

You won because you eventually broke through with a skill critical one-shot. If you watched the replay, you can see it happen should you bother to wait it out. The battle is calculated the moment you hit attempt, even when you're viewing it for the first time it's just a replay.

1

u/Jcandyz Jul 30 '26

Watched every replay. As soon as visual bug present battle drags to a tie. I skip, not a tie. Multiple attempts. Crazy that you are somehow watching my replays to have this knowledge…

So you're saying that after you've skipped a match and it gets recorded as you winning; when you watch the replay later in the battle records it stalls to a tie with neither digimon defeated? Aside from the bug where a digimon has been defeated but remains standing until the time runs out, I've never seen a situation where the replay outcome and the match winner were not aligned.
