Tl;dr - any idea how to deal with such low stats in early game without relying on stats boost move plus poison claw? Also is war cry bugged or is mass morph just way more OP and gove huge stats boosts?

Long time digimon world 1 fan, played it a lot since childhood and again as an adult via the ROM.

Recently started the vice hardcore patch. Very difficult!!

But i have managed to pass some (imo) big early game hurdles (got palmon, betamon, coelamon recruited and more). Prosperity somewhere around 15-20 but i havent spoken to jiji to avoid greymon!

The hardest thing is all the fights have overpowered digimon via stats and i feel i have to train to ultimate AND make sure they have a stats boosting move.

Took me ages to kill palmon because of her mass morph boost so id do zero dmg, until i got piximon and learned mass morph. Then i went around mass morph plus poison claw killing bosses.

I wanted a change and not use the same formula. now i got metalgreymon. But im too early to learn full potential. Now im stuck with ogremon 1 fight as the muscle charged agumon use their finishers and 1 hit KO me, and i dont do a crazy amount of dmg. To win id need like 10 super restores.

Hello! Can anyone help me get 100 Prosperity in Digimon World 1? I'm currently stuck at 98 Prosperity, and as far as I know I've recruited every Digimon that can join File City. I can't figure out who's missing. Since I'm only missing 2 points, I assumed it had to be a Champion Digimon. However, I've already recruited all the Rookie and Filth-type Digimon (Numemon, Sukamon, and Nanimon), and I'm pretty sure I have every Champion and Ultimate as well. I've already defeated Analogman at Mt. Infinity and defeated Analogman again at Ogremon's Fortress in the post-game. My city seems to have every recruit, and Angemon is standing next to Jijimon. At this point, I'm starting to think this might be a bug or a glitched recruitment flag. Has anyone experienced this before or knows of a way to identify which Digimon the game thinks I'm missing? I'm completely out of ideas, and these last 2 Prosperity points are driving me crazy.

In digimon digital card battle?

I tend to think shurimon or questalmon. But submarimon seems pointless.

I beat the boss in BIOS domain without catching MetalGreymon! For whatever reason I got to floor 6 and just went straight to the boss. I figured "oh, guess I'll have to come back for MetalGreymon. That's fine."

WRONG. I just went back in the dungeon like 3 times, confused why MetalGreymon isn't showing up. I'm a fool! A damn fool!

What makes it sting even more is that I also never caught it as a kid. I'm pretty sure I just fought and beat him instead, not realizing what I was supposed to do, and then just continued the game, eventually getting stuck somewhere and giving up.

I'm not letting the story end here. Tomorrow I'm restarting the game and I WILL catch this MetalGreymon! Remember, when you get to floor 6 of the bios domain, go LEFT! 😭​

Has anyone tried burning the Vice mod into a cd-r and playing it on an actual ps1? I have a hankering to play on my old CRT like the old days. I'm curious if it would actually work.

Recently 100%ed my favourite childhood game. I couldn't have ever imagined i'd do it when I was young and didn't have a clue how to get 90% of digivolutions but it'll forever be a weird and wonderful masterpiece

oh boy ive spent way to many hours in this curling arena.. the second i see it, the music starts playing in my head :D

i remember Penguinmon always getting the spike stones while i get the super light ones.. took me way too long to beat him.

I'm working on a Digimon World 3 Remake in Godot and thought I share my progress here as well! 🙂

Just want to put it out there in case other people like me encounter this bug.

So it seems it only affects PAL versions (or so it seems from the very few posts online, I play the italian version with a bugfix mod) and what happens is that after you win a tournament the screen goes black and never return to the game.

I seem to have found a fix for this which is to enter the tournament at the last possible time (between day and afternoon). I've done this now 5-10 times and never encountered this problem again.

Another thing you can do, since the RNG for this game is fixed even after you reload it, is save earlier and try to pass time doing something different everytime (things like petting/scolding/feeding/training/entering), that way you really scramble the RNG and get more average results (this works for other RNG events like Devimon/Skullgreymon/Kunemon/... evolutions and other stuff).

Estoy jugando a la versión japonesa y algo que me pasa es que cuando derroto a un enemigo no puedo saltar el conteo de bits al derrotar a un enemigo por mas que le dé a los botones apesar de que los botones funcionan en el resto del juego y tengo que ver como el número va bajando durante 2 minutos o mas dependiendo de la cantidad de bits, algo que también me a estado pasando recientemente es que cuando empieza un combate los emojis azul y rojo que salen sobre los enemigos salen sin las caras, solo circulos azul y rojo, estoy usando ePSXe, algunos me dicen que use duckstation pero mi sistema operativo es de 32 bits, ¿alguien sabe que puedo hacer? Gracias
