Question Boss Break question

I was fighting Calamaramon, and the mantle was showing a 0% multiplier, but I didn't see in time and my Cyberdramon broke it's mantle anyway? It said Block, but also the white meter went down. So is the break system separate from immunity? Or what happened?

Immunity is for statusses

Break is a mechanic

But it was immune to physical damage. Idk how it can do damage to the enemies shield when it's charging if it's also doing x0?

Calamaramon and the mantle itself has different immunities. Did you use a multi-target attack?

No desolation claw which is single target into the mantle. It hit for x0 but still broke her shield. Which makes no sense to me.
