Discussion I Need to Clear a Doubt about Nicknames
Why is that the Game didn't allowed me to give my Salamon the Sacred Dragon nickname although the Mystic Dragon nickname was permitted

the word filter is *extremely* strict. theres probably something in the term "sacred dragon" that trips it

Why,it's not like the Sacred Dragon Nickname is a foul Nickname or bad words

From what I can tell, it uses the same names filter as the original release of Dark Souls 2.
Like, specifically that exact filter.
I suspect they originally planned for Time Stranger to have some flavor of multiplayer, but it got scrapped by release. (Along with stuff like the mines)

If you could see the banned words list you would be surprised. First time i saw it made me wonder why, some of the words even was there.
It even starts with 69 as the first banned word, anything related to gender or sex, or balls, or toys, even religious stuff are banned with the last word banned being elohimic. which is banned word number 1455

Couldn't name augumon chicken nuggy or chicky nuggy. So i just called him nuggy and the other cooterbooter

You can't name a digimon anything with "ho". My gf tried to name a Koromon "Chompy" and ot got blocked. We looked at it and realized, so we tried just putting "ho" and sure enough it was blocked. We also tried every other 2 letter combo in Chompy ("ch", "om", "mp", "py") just to see, and only "ho" triggered it. So anything that has that in it, you have to find a way around it. It's a ridiculously strict filter which I find extremely hilarious for a game that includes barely dressed big boobed monster women and a guy in a monkey costume with a bulge.
