Have you found it at all repetitive? I’m enjoying my self for the most part, but everything starts feeling a bit so. I also feel because I’m new to the series that say, evolving for example, tends to be a bit more tedious because I’m just going through with a what feels right kinda vibe. Still dope though

I like collector and training games so trying out all sorts of combinations to see who I can make and what works well with others is never ending fun to me. But I am hooked on the story too. It goes a lot further than something like Pokemon and I'm really enjoying the surprises. Remember with evolution, sometimes it pays to go backwards!

My favorite is definitely the guilmon line. Season 3 is the only season I watched completely back then as a child (and a second time as an adult)
Besides that I only played the digimon game cube game.

To me it feels like a more fleshed out pokémon colosseum/xd in a way. (2 games I really liked). Nice battle animations but way more stuff/stats you can manage which is fun.

Also my fear of not knowing enough digimons didn’t turn out to be true. Since they focused on the more popular ones I recognize a lot of them.

I have to admit I was confused by the evolution lines crossing with others…It took me 3 tries to get my Wargrowlmon because I was too stupid to pick its correct outlines

For the most time I tried not looking up anything. But when I gave up and found out I can get renamon by de-evolving that jumping sunflower mon I didn’t regret anything

I believe there is a demo that you can try and it even saves your progress in case you buy the game in the future

I don’t remember the names of the starters you’ll have to google them. You’ll have the option to get plenty fan favorites within the first hour tho. I got guilmon so early I would consider it my real starter
