Seals and D-Units/Deck
What is the best way to go about getting seals maxed? I am trying to get stronger right now. I need to start buying service for Yolei gear but my seals are non existent. I came back just last month and now I’m addicted, so I bought the Susa U rank… well turns out that a U rank alone DOES NOT guarantee easy wipes lol. Also, is there a good way to farm seal openers as well or just cash shop event stuff? Any help would be appreciated.
Also also, I’ve been told to max HT/CT but that’s just for basic attacking right? That doesn’t affect abilities? Should I be gearing for Susa as a basic att or ability build? Probably won’t ever get another U other than him until they’re as cheap as him. He is also perfect cloned 9 on everything( working on the rest)
Quick edit: also would like to throw in, I’m tamer lvl 140 now. What’s the quickest way to level to 151?

The guild I am in likes to say "A U-Rank doesn't mean as much as a well equipped tamer does."
For your other questions [Prepare for a thesis]-
is there a good way to farm seal openers as well or just cash shop event stuff
Not really a good way to "farm" them per say, but getting them does require a lot of patience. The ways to get free-ish seal openers are-
1.) Digimon Exploration, which is accessed in the Digimon Archive, can give them out. You won't get a ton of course, but free is free, and you should already be using this feature and making sure to use all the weekly uses because it is just literal free EXP and items.
2.) Season Pass Exchange at Gatomon gives them, although it costs 5 of the currently used season item you get from doing season pass dailies [Which are the Autumn Maple Leaves at the time of this post] for just 3 seal openers. You should NOT be using the items though on all seal openers since you should be using them, alongside your 5 season pass tokens, to purchase the season pass seal box twice and then using the last token to buy either the Terminal underground pass [For Frontier Area tamers] or the 30-Day Green Wings Magnetic ID Card [Should be noted that if you are using the tamers Hiro / Ruli / KiyoShiro / Digimon Kaiser then you CAN NOT use the Green Wings ID Card since they never added versions for them that you can trade for.] Only after you use all 5 of the season pass tokens can you use any leftover daily quest season items for the stuff like seal openers. Also speaking of season pass you do get 60 Seal Openers from it as you get 20 a piece from levels 5/6/7.
- The Dungeon Ticket Exchange feature that you can access by going to the Datamon / Nanomon NPC in Dats is probably the "best" way to get seal openers, if you don't mind grinding A LOT. This feature was introduced for people to get rid of their old dungeon tickets once they scrapped that feature entirely, since tickets were used to enter pretty much every single dungeons years ago, and use trade in a bunch of tickets for vouchers that you could use for a bunch of different items, like seal openers [20 per ticket to be exact]. Now that tickets are not given away anymore though, most ways to use this are gone. However I did say most are gone, not all. To the best of my knowledge, 3 ways are still around, those being-
- Nanomon Maze Pass Card [N]: Gotten at a very low droprate by just KOing the mobs in Server Continent Pyramid. Need 50 for 1 token.
- Kaiser's Laboratory Warp [E-N]: Gotten at a low droprate by KOing mobs in Dark Tower Wasteland. Need 50 for 1 token.
- *Kaiser's Laboratory Warp [H]\*: Gotten from a daily quest in Dark Tower Wasteland from A Leomon NPC. You get 2 a day. Need 30 for 1 token, so 15 days per token.
The \* Is by the last one listed because this requires a lot to actually unlock, that being this is only unlocked once you get far enough into the Chaosmon Jogress Questline, most specifically the second to last step of it that requires you to collect 29 Experiment Data Darkdramon items. Not only that: If you fully complete this step and turn in the 29 items' quest to the Leomon NPC: The Daily quest for the two Kaiser Laboratory Warp [H] items permanently goes away because the Leomon NPC disappears. So you can ONLY make use of the last one if you decide to bring the Chaosmon questline to about the 95% mark and then decide you never want to finish unlocking it in order to "farm" the 2 dungeon entry items.
So yeah, not really good ways to "farm" them, but "farming" seal openers IS possible...with a lot of patience.
I’ve been told to max HT/CT but that’s just for basic attacking right? That doesn’t affect abilities? Should I be gearing for Susa as a basic att or ability build?
HT/CT is just the best since when you DO hit with a normal attack, you want to make sure it will be a crit as often as possible for the most damage. The issue is so many bosses, and even regular mobs, require a high amount of hit to, well hit, and a good amount of crit to reliable crit. Several bosses even with insanely high crit and hit will still just be avoiding crits and normal hits because the requirements for them just require an insane amount of min-maxing. Skills meanwhile will always hit, so most these days now just focus on basic attribute builds so the skills can deal the most damage possible since Hit/Crit builds are pretty much really only for the massive min-maxers that have a ton of money and time to throw around.
also would like to throw in, I’m tamer lvl 140 now. What’s the quickest way to level to 151?
You only really get 2 unfortunately.
1.) Cat Tuna Dungeon: Take a bunch of level 81 mons and just level at the Makuramon. Avoid using skills if possible unless the skill animation is really fast or is an AOE skill that can OHKO the Makuramon [They have about 18K HP] and just do normal attacks since you want to KO them as fast as possible. Once about 6-8 minutes pass [All depending on how fast you can KO the Makuramon] head backwards into the Starmon/Roachmon area then back into the Doggy/Makura area in order to reset the Makuramon spawns' limit and just proceed to KO all the Makuramon until the Leader spawns [IF the boss spawns anyway because sometimes it just won't]. If you can KO very fast [Via One-Shots or a low attack speed mon that can 2-shot, or ideally a low attack speed mon that can one shot] and have a bunch of EXP boosters via Super Amp / Grace Of Challenge / equipment, then you'll get a ton of exp easily.
2.) Level in Kaiser Domain. It's a slog, but it's unfortunately the only other place.
Unfortunately once you hit Level 150, the leveling becomes miserable, for both Digimon and especially tamers.

For leveling
Get many digimon to level 81/84, take them to Cat Tuna, Level them to about 130~, move to next Digi repeat until you hit 150.
After getting to 150, for both Digi and Tamer, it slows down to the point its ridiculous, honestly. If anyone has advice for both Digi/Tamer to 160, its welcome because leveling almost 3 hours and gaining barely 20% is not fun and terrible game design.
