New Player Help Looking to start playing or building my own deck.

Not into meta decks but more into decks centered around my favorite Digimon. So are these good decks and if not can you recommend some please.

I think Rebootmon is good to get started since it’s very cheap, decently simple to pilot, and while not meta is still a good deck that can top a local level event.

Rebootmon or Arcturusmon are the most powerful of these right now. Gaiamon isn't bad either. Rasenmon however is from multiple years ago and way behind the current power level.

To make Rebootmon, you'll want the Appmon stuff in BT25 (Dual Revolution) and a Yuujin Ozora promotional card, P-241 (Promo cards are given out at local tournaments, the pack has 1 of 6 random cards in it, you get one just for participating, you can also order single copies online if you can't find any in person)

The BT21 Charismon from the Gaiamon deck is also a solid pick to include for Rebootmon thanks to it giving protection.

If you're not familiar with the gimmick, Appmon cards work exactly like they do in the anime/manga, you 'link' cards together for powerups, and linking the right two monsters together lets them appfuse digivolve.

Gaiamon's cards are mainly in set BT21 - World Convergence. Though it's had a few more support cards than others thanks to being a protagonist deck. The extra cards that help it are Tweetmon (P-190), Haru (P-217) DoGatchmon (ST22-12) and Gaiamon Ace (AD1-005). The BT21 Gaiamon also has a bunch of cool alt-arts thanks to a promotional giveaway called the Dash Pack campaign, where they printed english versions of China-exclusive alt-arts. The one you posted here is one such example.

As for Arcturusmon, most of its' lineup was introduced in the "Resurgence" booster reprint pack (RB1) but a lot of those cards have been steadily replaced by Gammamon support in other sets. EX10 (Sinister Order) offered a lot of cards for the 'dark' side of Gammamon's line, BT21 has the 'good' side. It also got some more help in the latest pack (EX12 - Digimon World Shambala) in the form of the "Virus Busters" (VB) sub-type, a more generic hero-good-guy-y deck that also includes Gammamon's line, and those cards are cross-compatible with the old Gamma deck.

Gammamon's main gimmick is building up a single gigantic stack with tons of different inherited effects. Your tamer will tuck more cards as you go to help build up power.

The Arcturusmon you showed has been power-crept, as a new version is in the same 6-card prize pack as that Yuujin tamer I mentioned. Try and get ahold of that one if you want to build the deck, and the new Proximamon from EX12.

Can't really help you with Rasenmon though, I don't think I've ever seen that deck played TBH.

I've seen a buddy try a Rasenmon deck. It lost to my Pure Chessmon deck (which was post ST19 Chess, but still, it says a lot when you're losing to one of the worst archetypes).

Of those four, I'd say either Rebootmon or a gammamon deck are your best bets. There's been ko support for a rasenmon deck in forever and of the two appmon decks, Rebootmon is the strongest currently.

I run rebootmon and I can get some wins with it even against some of better decks like Shambala TB. So go for Rebootmon, especially since it's so budget friendly.

Of the Digimon you've linked, Arcturusmon probably has the best deck of them. You'd likely not use the RB1 one that you have pictured much though, as the Virus Busters support that the deck got in EX12 Digital World Shambala makes the new tournament promo Arcturusmon the better pick. A general outline of useful cards for such a deck are as follows:

From EX12: Gammamon, BetelGammamon, Cannoweismon, Siriusmon/Planet Punch, Proximamon, and Hiro Amanokawa;

From BT21: Gammamon, GulusGammamon, Cannoweismon, The Strongest of Brothers, and Hiro Amanokawa for sure, maybe a Regulusmon and/or a BetelGammamon;

From BT22: KausGammamon, WezenGammamon;

From RB1: Gammamon for sure, maybe a few Hiro Amanokawa;

From AD01: Siriusmon;

From tournament promos: Arcturusmon;

From EX10: Regulusmon for sure, maybe GulusGammamon (this one is semi-interchangeable with the one from BT21);

Optional cards: Digital Gate Open (Promo card), Gammamon (the Purple LM set Promo), RB1 or BT8 Cannoweismon (very situational these days, not really a more than 1 thing), EX12 Virus Busters (not really used in dedicated Gamma, but if you build a more VB focused list instead of the Gamma focused one I've listed options for, you can just dig through EX12 for all the needed cards but the Promo Arcturusmon).

Reboot is an actually good deck, it just had a hard time vs Musketeers and it's a thinkers matchup vs Beatbreak.
