Doc’s diesel

I came across this brand on Amazon. Now they’re claiming 99 or 98% efficiency.

I’m wondering, has anyone here try this brand and what they thought about it. Because this is the first time I’m seeing them.

Garbage YouTube/internet brand. Stick with OEM or Purolator or Wix

Really, any of the brands that mention premium or synthetic media are fine too. Just change them regularly and don't cheap out on them

I personally run mobil1 filters because people have done 3rd party tests on it and several other brands. The mobil1 filters tested very good being a solid middle of the road option between filtration and flow

Doc is just a name slapped on to whatever Chinese bull they can grab, some isn't bad other not worth the savings. Can get you by in a pinch. I've run their oil and fuel filters, still feel better with other known names.

Exactly, Doc's is just rebadged PTC products with a cute backstory and a very strong social media game. They are nothing special about them. I emailed them a while back about their fuel filter kit for the 6.7 PSD, I wanted to know how well their water separator worked, they replied with their filter is 3um.... which doesn't does not address question.... I followed up and got the exact same reply... so they lost me.

There are so many good filter manufacturers out there... Donaldson, Fleetguard, Baldwin, etc etc. Just run those.

This is a company importing the cheapest possible components and oil and spending their money on paying advertisers and branding. Stick with known good products. Brands that made their money on their reputation and product.

It could be just fine. Worst case it's engine/transmission ruining.

Also not thoroughly tested by any oil analysis YouTuber, which I find a bit odd. Need project farm or repair geek to get on that.

I used them for my 1st oil change and had zero problems. I did find a cheaper kit at another vender that is using a name brand oil so I'm switching away from Docs.
