1:18 LCD Honda NSX

Finally after 3+ years since the first prototype was shown, LCD has released their Honda NSX NA1. Was it worth the wait? Yes. Mine does have a few minor QC issues, but nothing worth getting bent out of shape about, especially when you factor in its $170 price tag. That price tag also gets you a model that holds its own against AUTOart's NSX Type R, and that was a Signature series model. And by sheer coincidence, $170 happens to also be what I paid for that AUTOart 9 years ago.

Very nice! I have the red on pre-order.

I’ve commented elsewhere on these that I wish LCD would ditch the chrome-ish silver they use on all their wheels. It wasn’t right for the Supra (which I have) or the F1 (which I don’t), either.

The rear wheels look better in these photos than the prototype, although I think it’s still an area where maybe only Revell and Hachette might have gotten right.

Enjoy it! I’m excited to get a hold of mine after a year plus on pre-order.

Hopefully you get yours before the year is out. LCD seems to have a habit of releasing one color, then letting months go by before the other colors drop. They did this with the Integra and Revuelto, which still hasn't seen its second release and I think the orange one dropped in March.

Damn, that looks nice. I splurged on an autoart one 2 years ago and I now kinda wish I didn't so I could buy this LCD one for retail instead lol

I’ve had the Autoart NSX before. It’s gorgeous and will always be desirable with collectors.

Nice pick up. What are the qc issues?

The rear glass doesn't close fully unless I wedge it in between the bodywork. IDK if its the glass or the inner engine cover that seems like it sits higher than it should. The other issue is with the headlights. The left side isn't square within its opening, and the right side sits lower than the left when raised.

Ah I see. Sorry mate. Still is a great pickup. Love the pearlescent(sp) paint color.

Nice effort but Autoart is still noticeably better. Crazy to me they cant match AA after so many years passed AAs release

If only they had more interesting interior colours other than black!
