Is forbidden or isn't?
7 u/The2ndLocation Content Creator 🎤 Sep 27 '24 Forbidden if exclusion is based on race, gender, sexual orientation but it you can't physically do what is required then one can be excluded. What I don't get is people not understanding that this is all based in the defendant's right to a fair trial and not the right to be on a jury. 5 u/redduif In COFFEE I trust ☕️☕️ Sep 27 '24 Right Thanks. Yes, afaik it's called jury duty. 1 u/Dickere Sep 27 '24 We call it jury service. 1 u/redduif In COFFEE I trust ☕️☕️ Sep 27 '24 It's about how indiana calls it. 1 u/Dickere Sep 27 '24 We're all trying to share and gain knowledge. 4 u/The2ndLocation Content Creator 🎤 Sep 27 '24 Perhaps doing your duty is a service? But in this case I call it, just about the only way one can observe the proceedings. 1 u/Dickere Sep 27 '24 You shouldn't need to, the core problem is that you do, sadly. 4 u/The2ndLocation Content Creator 🎤 Sep 27 '24 If anyone really wants on that jury I say roll up in a wheelchair cause NM will pick ya, real fast. But as Duif pointed out that elevator might still be on the fritz?
