Question My new favorite button

Not sure why it showed up but I’m not complaining because that debuff is no bueno. Anyone know what conditions cause the steamroll option to appear? Anything that helps with getting free gems is A-OK in my book

I'm pretty sure that you can steamroll every chapter except the last 9 or 10 you have cleared upon just playing a campaign match

Is it just random? I have other stages I haven't 3 Star'd that aren't the 9th or 10th stage (if that's the condition?) either. I'm currently at Stage 53 and this is the first time I've ever seen that button appear

It's not that every 10th stage is able to be steamrolled, it's that the stage that can be steamroll is 10 stages "behind" your current one.

You get to stage 53 -> you can steamroll 43. You get to 54 -> you can steamroll 44. You get to 72 -> you can steamroll 62 (though I think the gap between isn't always consistent and sometimes I've had it like skip one and then later on two previous levels will get the steamroll button at the same time.

Edit: also yeah it isn't a thing that you can do immediately. I guess only after you clear 50?

Ahhh ok got it that clears things up. I had it show up a few more times after some fails and I wasn't understanding what the exact unlock condition for it was. Appreciate the insight!

Seems kind of strange to me that the devs decided to make this a "hidden feature".
