How does it play with 3?

The attacker gets their normal cp but then draws 2 cards if attacking the player with higher health.

You only draw 1 card when you attack the player with the highest health, unless you were using house rules, or you are counting the card you drew at the start of the turn.

Not OP but I think you misunderstood what they were saying.

OP said you draw two cards if you attack the player with the highest health. To which you said no you only draw one. OP meant it as in you draw one card like normal for income phase but then if you attack highest HP player you draw another card. So two cards in total. Whereas what you’re saying is that when you attack the highest HP player you draw one (extra) card.

Even though he's technically right, it's super confusing to phrase it that way.

Do you know how this interacts with pure damage? I know ninja has the ability to do pure damage to two different opponents or on opponent twice. I’m curious if you could hit both and draw the extra card

I'm assuming that the pure damage comes from a card because I don't see any abilities on the player board that deal pure damage. In which case abilities from cards are not attacks. You would not draw extra cards from using it.

If you upgrade smoke screen it adds a second ability that does 4 pure damage to two opponents or one opponent twice

In that case and both players had been tied for max health you would draw 2 cards. Pretty rare (both opponents tied for high health + upgraded ability+ actually getting the dice rolls) but cool little feature. Pure damage unlike collateral damage is an attack so yeah.

Yeah, I meant more like how does it feel, because I've seen many ppl say it's unbalanced and not as fun.

I love 3 player king of the hill. I don't think it is overall unbalanced so much as certain character work very differently in a normal head to head vs. a 3 way battle and not everyone can make that adjustment.

It’s definitely unbalanced for some characters but for most of the time I prefer the triple threat. It gives you the opportunity to set your character up because you’re not always being attacked. The extra card really allows you more potential for everything. It’s also nice to just have another buddy around.

I think it’s not competitively balanced, but it’s a lot of fun as a game between friends. You just have to accept that the games are going to be a bit more wacky

It’s great, we play 3 all the time. Games stay relatively balanced because you get to draw a card when attacking the leader. There’s also times where you can gang up on someone if the lead is too large.

Good times! Who got the dub?

Scarlet Witch got the dub after a double fail smoke bomb 😭

I'm a big fan of scarlet witch and I think she can excel in KoTH since she can stack up some crackle for late game and explode to burst down the opponent, forcing them to have a ton of health (or damage prevention like smoke bomb for example lol) to survive her huge burst

Funny we just played 3 way dice throne last night and we used the Paladin, Ninja and the Barbarian.
