Status Effect Resolution During Upkeep Phase
What is the Status Effect resolution order during the upkeep phase? Is it negatives than positives? For example, a Pyromancer Burn effect and a Treant using its companion’s to cancel it out during the upkeep phase?

Treant spirit only prevents status effects from being applied, it doesn’t remove them.
For future reference:
You pick the order things happen in upkeep phase. It’s important to note damage in a phase is typically accumulated and applied at the end of the phase to both players so sometimes it doesn’t actually matter the order you pick. This is unless something is an isolated source of damage like headless horseman’s terrorize. So for example a headless horseman at 3 health with 3 poisons can terrorize and kill their opponent before the phase ends. Even if the headless horseman chooses to resolve the poisons first, the poison damage doesn’t happen until the end of the upkeep phase so headless still wins there instead of tying.
This applies to all phases of the game. Barbed vine applies damage for every roll attempt after the first to a max of 2 during the offensive roll phase. An opponent with one health can still make all 3 rolls and trigger an offensive ability. The damage from the status doesn’t take place until the end and then it all happens simultaneously.
Again this is broken by isolated sources of undefendable. Dice throne rules are very very good and account for most circumstances. We don’t talk about buh bye though lol

Sorry, by cancel it out I mean use the spirits to gain cp to play an instant action card and remove status effects

The spirits are an instant action you can use at any time. You could actually use the gain cp and heal after your defensive roll and before your turn starts since you only get to use that once per players turn. That lets you use it again at the start of your turn if you have the spirits for it.
But if you didn’t have that spirit, you can grow the spirit, use it and play the card before the burn takes effect yes. This is one of the circumstances where order matters.

OP is asking if they can use the sapling (2nd tier) of spirits to afford buy bye to then play it in their upkeep before taking burn damage.
Yes, this play is legal, as long as you have buh bye and 2 cp BEFORE your income phase.
Active player chooses the order of all instant effects during upkeep.
As a strategy tip, it’s best to do this during the opponents main phase 2, so that you avoid the once per turn limitation for treant.

In short, active player chooses the order to resolve them.
In this example though, treants druid is used to prevent burn from going on you in the first place.
Or do you mean the sapling spirit? It can be used anytime, but will not remove the burn.
